About the event
Anna van Riel from Nook Road Productions offers a dynamic and interactive 2hr wānanga to support the development of a powerful vocal toolbox. Learn effective and efficient breathwork and awareness around posture, anatomy and vocal health and recovery.
Ideal for singers and speakers aged 16+ Facilitator: Anna van Riel is the principal teacher and founder of Nook Road Productions in Lake Hāwea. Anna is an award-winning singer/songwriter and a trained TOSCA vocal practitioner. She tours the lower South Island, delivering vocal workshops in partnership with her original singer/songwriter/storyteller concerts and has a focus on reaching rural and remote communities. Anna is also the creator and performer of her environmental musical stage show Waste Free Wanda, which supports Tamariki and their whanau to understand how they can practice kaitiaki for Papatūānuku using a ‘Simple Swaps’ philosophy and by using theatre, waiata and actions to make the learnings stick.
