About the event
Are you interested in discovering how to display your art work to bring out the best in both the art work and the space it is displayed? Whether it be your home, gallery or a public exhibition this workshop is for you!
Kenny Willis has has been producing art exhibitions and events for over 18 years in various roles and institutions - recently arriving in Tasman after 8 years at Te Uru Waitakere Contemporary Gallery in West Auckland. Currently he is the Exhibitions Manager at Motueka District Museum which includes curating and delivering the annual programme of exhibitions as well as upgrading the permanent displays to meet current museum standards and trends. Kenny also does contract work for The Suter Art Galley and Nelson Provincial Museum.
Kenny is passionate about celebrating the arts and its vital role in a healthy society. He works on art projects ranging from those of national significance to temporary DIY art spaces on a shoestring budget, arts festivals, and community galleries.
